Senior Test Automation Engineer

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer at Endava, you will be in charge of building, developing, and implementing automated tests to assure the highest quality and confidence leading up to product release.

Main responsibilities:

• Create and maintain test strategy and plan.
• Create and maintain automation testing frameworks from scratch covering UI, API and DB testing.
• Ensure the functional and non-functional quality as part of the CI/CD pipelines.
• Work in cross functional agile team, covering the testing trough the complete SDLC.
• Prepare test reports on sprint/release basis
• Mentor and support less experience engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle phases and QA processes within it.
• Proficient in 1 or more programing languages (Java, .Net, JavaScript or other).
• Work experience with some of the most used test automation tools and frameworks
• Work experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps or similar CI tool.
• Work experience with bug tracking, test management, project management and version control systems.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GSP.
• Proficiency in understanding software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing, regression testing).
• Work experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Very good soft skills and English skills.
• Team player.
