System Engineer

Roles and Responsibility :
Act as a server administrator and Manage build implement server infrastructure
Work with Network security team to design setup server infra as per business requirements
Maintain server compliance with company policies and procedures

Technical Skills :

• Excellent knowledge of VMware architecture Provisioning Decommissioning of VM s
• Experience with VUM VMware update manager.
• Expertise in installing implementing Administration and Troubleshooting VMware ESX 6 6 6 Vcenter sercer
• Experience with P2V migration DRS High availability etc
• Good knowledge of vMmotion VMotion DRS
• Creation of new VM cloning templates
• Good experience on Windows platform with Server 2012 R2 2016 Office 365 server etc
• Excellent Knowledge of troubleshooting of Performance issues on Windows servers Patch updates server hardening.
• Administration of DNS DHCP WINS Terminal Server File Print server DFS Servers.
• Good knowledge of MS SQL server Database.
• Good knowledge of Proxy PAC server PAC file configuration.
• Knowledge of File server folder permissions process.
• Understanding of capacity planning performance monitoring for server infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of MS Active Directory user group policy definition.
• H W troubleshooting Vendor coordination.
• Disk Administration Compact Partitions Shares Disk Quotas DFS various RAID technologies RAID 0 1 RAID 1 RAID 5 etc.
• Hands on experience in managing Dell Lenovo Servers VxRail Hyperconverged servers managing iDRAC console
• Firmware BIOS upgrade
• Understanding of capacity planning performance monitoring and tuning.
• Knowledge of any ticketing system Service Now Remedy etc and change management.
• Experience in handling various backup solutions like Veritas Dell data domain Netapp etc.
• Good knowledge of Azure server administration concepts.
• Configuring Troubleshooting Antivirus for server clients.
• Basic knowledge of Monitoring tools like SolarWinds ManageEngine etc.
• Good knowledge of ITIL processes.
• Create update maintain server domain and backup solution documents.
• Assists the engineering and architecture teams of IT for implementation of new services within the Server and cloud to compute area.
• Excellent problem solving multitasking and Team player skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external company staff team members.
