Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive business models and analytical strategies. Reporting directly to the Global Finance Director, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimising client activities, producing insightful reports, and providing expertise across various business functions. This role requires a combination of financial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting, budgeting and monitoring the company's performance.

Responsibilities:

Business Model Development:

· Create and maintain comprehensive financial models to support business growth initiatives, including forecasting, identifying trends, and pricing strategies.

· Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency improvements.

Financial Reporting:

· Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and presentations.

· Collaborate with department heads to review financial performance and implement improvements

· Conduct variance analysis between actual results and forecasts and identify key drivers of performance.

Budget and Forecasting:

· Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with the sales team.

· Provide ongoing reporting on revenue forecasts, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.

Pricing Strategy:

· Review current pricing metrics across all products.

· Assist with the development and implementation of pricing models to optimize product pricing and maximize revenue

· Provide strategic insights based on pricing analysis to contribute to overall business strategy.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing models align with overall business goals.

Client Profile/Activity Analysis:

· Perform regular analysis of client profiles and activities to identify areas for optimisation.

· Provide recommendations for improving key client metrics.

· Produce weekly and monthly reports for internal use, encompassing business-wide performance against KPIs and client-level key metrics versus quotes and profitability.

· Act as a specialist advisor to all areas of the business, offering insights on reporting, sales, and data analysis.

· Assist in setting up an internal dashboard to gather client data from various systems creating a profile for each client.

Adhoc Projects and Support:

· Assist with adhoc projects as required

· Provide support and coverage across the finance team as required

Requirements

· Qualified ACA / ACCA accountant with a minimum of 5 years experience with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.

· Solid experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), Business Partnering, and providing support to CFOs/FDs.

· Ability to think strategically and provide high-level insights, while also being hands-on and involved in the details as necessary.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret financial data.

· Proficient in financial modelling, with the capability to develop and maintain complex financial models.

· Exceptional business partnering skills, fostering collaboration across different departments.

· Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

· Advanced proficiency in Excel and competent in PowerPoint for effective communication of financial insights.
