Senior Software Engineer

NYISO in Rensselaer, NY seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain software products. This position will be responsible for participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, testing, and integration of products; understanding the business and customer requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions; resolving technical and functional issues with software products and identifying ideas for improvements and enhancements. Senior Software Engineer will research new technologies, mentor other developers, collaborate with Project Managers and act as a Subject Matter Expert for their assigned application(s). This position has a rotation based on-call production support requirement.

Requirements: Bachelor’s in electrical or computer engineering or a related field. The successful candidate must have two years of experience in software development which includes two years of experience in:

•Structured Query Language (SQL)

•Autosys

•Control M

•Informatica
