UI/UX Product Designer

Storableis seeking a creative, energetic UI/UX Product Designerto join our team. You’ll focus on our consumer marketplaces to design UX and UI experiences that are consistent, delightful, and ultimately achieving targeted business outcomes. What you will do:

• Alongside product, marketing, and engineering—you’ll research, conceptualize, design, A/B test and fully deliver effective, valuable, and user-centered consumer software experiences
• Generate design tools—like sketches, storyboards, journey maps, user flows, wireframes and prototypes—to organize complexity and facilitate quick and inexpensive idea exploration
• Partner with your product peers to get quantitative and qualitative data from customers, design experiments, and research rounds to inform and validate your design decisions
• Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and stakeholders to generate all final designs, documentation and assets to support delivery and launch of your designs
• Continually work to deeply know (and help others know) the people that use our product
• Use and contribute toward our overall design system to generate consistent UI quickly and better the overall style, usability, and accessibility of our products
• Actively participate in various scrum planning sessions, retrospectives, and evaluations of where we are headed, winning, and struggling
• Work closely with your Product Design peers to exchange ideas, provide feedback and inspire

What you will need:

• 5+ years of digital product design experience
• Previous product or marketing experience with consumer-facing software, ideally a Marketplace
• A strong portfolio demonstrating your design chops and past user-centered solutions (required for consideration)
• Autonomous mastery of craft: ability to design practical solutions, map user flows, think meticulously through the interactions, and oversee the implementation by partnering closely with engineering
• Desire to collaborate with a cross-functional team to facilitate, lead, challenge, and build consensus among team members and stakeholders
• Passion for knowing and seeking the best interest of the person who uses your product
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Attentive listener who is perceptive, observant, and prone to read between the lines
• Comfortable taking and giving criticism in order to achieve growth

Bonus Points:

• Comfortable with Figma, Miro, Pendo, Google Analytics, Jira
• Previous experience doing UX research
• Previous experience building or managing a pattern library
• Desire to mentor other Product Designers
• Enjoys pranking and infusing fun into the day
