The Job
As a Data Architect at Koombea, you will be at the forefront of adopting generative AI in the design, development, and migration of data applications. This is a hands-on technical role that involves deep collaboration with both our product/engineering team and our customers/partners. You will drive the maturation and adoption of Koombea’s redefined software design lifecycle among cloud data warehouse partners and customers
What You’ll Do
- Identify and quantify customer business requirements across the product’s use cases.
- Design and implement data architecture solutions using cloud data warehouses like Snowflake and Databricks.
- Build and optimize automated data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models.
- Ensure best practices in data architecture, security, and governance are followed.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in cloud platforms and AI technologies.
- Architect and implement security, compliance, and data governance standards in all Koombea solutions.
What You'll Bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role, focusing on cloud data solutions.
- Strong skills in SQL, Python, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Expertise in data warehousing, ETL processes, and AI modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Certifications in relevant cloud platforms or data technologies are a plus.
- English Proficiency (C1), Good command of English.
- Agile and Scrum Mentality: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
