Barbaricum is seeking a Cloud Architect to support a Marine Corps customer in its development with subject matter and technical expertise to assist in supporting all functions of the program in its development, execution, and supervision of plans, polices, programs, and practices that deliver, control, protect, and enhance the value of data, information, and analytic assets throughout their lifecycles.This requirement includes supporting the development and sustainment of an environment used for data management, facilitate requirements development, and data systems integration to improve maintenance, sustainment, and processes across the logistics chain.

Responsibilities

• Provide data architect and data management technology expertise in cloud technologies necessary to extract, transform, load, clean, integrate, apply business rules, warehouse, and conduct analytical operations on data using approved technologies available within the Marine Corps Enterprise Network.
• Estimate, monitor, and recommend adjustments to usage of cloud compute costs, data transit costs, data storage costs and reserve instance procurement to minimize costs while meeting operational necessities.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’s degree in Computer Security, data, or similar field
• 10+ years IT architecture experience
• 5+ years of Microsoft Azure experience.
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certified
• Secret Clearance Required
