AS400 Developer

We are seeking an AS400 Developer for a permanent. As an AS400 Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining AS400 applications.

Requirements

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AS400 applications based on business requirements.
• Design and implement new features and enhancements to existing applications.
• Perform unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in AS400 applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Document technical specifications and code changes.
• Provide support and maintenance for production systems.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in AS400 development.
• Proficiency in RPG, CL, and DB2 on AS400 platform.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience in full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Experience with AS400 modernization tools and techniques is a plus.
