What the Director – Business Development does at Visa:

  • Responsible for business development and delivery of account plans across a set of FI accounts, adopts a consultative selling process to identify new opportunities, make client pitches, structure commercial proposals to acquire and lock-in Visa share
  • Executes the product development strategy across core, digital, network and data products
  • Embeds Visa capabilities across Risk, Visa Consulting or Advisory, Marketing etc. to grow VAS revenue
  • Be the Voice of Visa in the client, provide thought-leadership via sharing of industry trends, regional or global best-practices, new technologies and use-cases etc.
  • Improves Client Satisfaction rating through on-going relationship management

Key Result Areas :

  • Improvement in Visa share in client’s credit, debit, prepaid lines of business, as applicable
  • Structuring and ongoing performance tracking of commercial proposals offered to client
  • Engagement across levels and functions within client to identify opportunities such as below the waterline and embed Visa solutions & capabilities to drive volumes on new-flows and VAS.
