  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team in a matrix framework
  • Demonstrate experience in functional and/or program leadership including technical or IPT leadership
  • Influence, instruct, guide, and mentor a team of engineers
  • Lead technical reviews and meetings, internal and external
  • Work through Program Managers and IPT leaders to achieve optimum program/functional cost/technical/schedule execution
  • Support team growth through opportunity identification and Business Development support as required
  • Supporting business development or bid efforts including technical responses, generation of costs/technical BOEs
  • Ensure a diverse and inclusive culture of respect and trust
  • Identify and execute required steps to bring projects to successful closure
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education/Training (both required and desired):

  • Bachelors Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required

Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
  • Strong knowledge of and direct experience in systems design/development
  • Strong familiarity with the systems engineering life cycle and the DoD design review process
  • Experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques
  • Familiarity with a range of systems engineering tools - Cameo experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of a variety of simulation techniques in support of systems analysis (e.g., discrete event simulation)
  • Background in developing and/or testing aircraft and/or military components preferred
  • Strong attention to detail

Security:

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
