Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager to drive sales and expand their client portfolio. This role is instrumental in promoting their innovative cryptocurrency-based solutions to businesses looking to streamline their international transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of financial services, and a passion for leveraging technology to solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a sales strategy to attract new clients, focusing on businesses involved in international trade that could benefit from our client's cryptocurrency solutions.
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and other lead generation methods. Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in target companies. Understand their needs and demonstrate how our client's solutions can optimize their cross-border transactions.
  • Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients. Lead negotiations to close deals and achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes. Use this knowledge to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and compliance teams to ensure that sales efforts align with the company’s broader business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics to the Head of Sales. Offer insights and recommendations to enhance sales effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within financial services, fintech, or cryptocurrency sectors.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving sales and achieving revenue targets in a B2B environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and the challenges businesses face in cross-border transactions.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently. Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
