Why are we searching for you?

We‘re looking for your assistance in creating an SEO strategy that brings us back on track. You will be putting your developed strategy into action together with the rest of the SEO Team and monitor the results. Furthermore, we expect you to stay up to date with latest information within the SEO community and adapt your plans accordingly where needed. Together with your team, you’ll be executing on the plans you help forging by collaborating with the development teams, particularly the one focused on organic growth. And by improving our existing process for content generation. Just as important, you are somebody the team can learn from and rely on, and you don’t shy away in supporting other members of the team in growing in their specialty.

What are your three main goals?

  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive SEO and content strategy, including supporting with roadmap prioritisation and planning. Collaborate closely with Product Owners and development teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Drive the design of an AI-integrated content generation process, prioritizing high-quality output and efficiency.
  • Aim to boost organic traffic by 20% and enhance engagement rates from landing pages to the core product by 30%.

How does your team look like?

You will be reporting to Bianca, our Product Owners & UX Manager, who oversees the overall product vision and design. Bianca will also support the SEO team's planning efforts, ensuring that key opportunities are identified and leveraged.

As the most senior member of your team, you will play a crucial role in guiding the overall SEO direction. Your team includes two SEO specialists, Sheldon and Elizabeth, along with two remote content creators, Adrian and Alexandra, based in Romania. You will guide the development of a long-term SEO strategy, ensuring that the team is aligned and focused on reaching as many students as possible.

In addition to your role within the SEO team, you will collaborate closely with three Product Owners, two UX professionals, and 24 engineers responsible for building the product, helping to shape the product's future direction. Your strategic guidance will be key to the success of the entire team's efforts.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of professional experience in SEO with a proven track record of successfully developing and implementing SEO strategies (with a ROI mindset) that significantly improved organic traffic.
  • A very strong understanding of user analytics, technical SEO, organic search, and SEO content.
  • Be able to be hands-on and work strategically, and help creating and maintaining an SEO vision and strategy, prioritised roadmap, and planning.
  • Experience in 3rd party tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and other tools for SEO management.
  • Fluent in English.
