Role Overview: Are you a seasoned UX Writer with a passion for crafting exceptional user experiences? We’re looking for a Senior UX Writer who will play a critical role in shaping the voice and tone of our products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that our design process is user-centered, accessible, and impactful. Your words will guide users, enhance usability, and contribute to creating a seamless experience across platforms.

• Key Responsibilities:

• UX Writing & Design Collaboration: Lead the charge in defining and refining the UX writing process, collaborating with design teams to ensure that the user journey is intuitive and cohesive across all platforms and devices. You'll be a strong advocate for user-centered design principles, accessibility, and best practices.

• User Research Integration: Partner with our Research team to dive deep into user behaviors, preferences, and pain points. Your insights will directly influence content strategies and design decisions, enhancing the overall user experience.

• Information Architecture & Flow: Work hand-in-hand with UX designers to develop and refine information architecture and user flows. Your content will ensure seamless navigation and efficient interactions, making every step of the user journey clear and engaging.

• Interaction & Microcopy Design: Craft intuitive, delightful interactions and micro-interactions. Your words will guide users, provide feedback, and make their experience enjoyable and effortless.

• Wireframing & Prototyping: Collaborate on creating high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design specifications. Your input will be essential in communicating design concepts and interactions to stakeholders.

• Visual & Content Design: Ensure that every visual element is paired with compelling content that enhances the overall experience, aligning with our brand style and guidelines.

• Design Guidelines & Standards: Establish and maintain content guidelines, ensuring a consistent and unified voice across different platforms and devices.

• Accessibility Focus: Advocate for and implement content strategies that adhere to accessibility standards, ensuring that all users, regardless of ability, can effectively interact with our applications.

• Trend Awareness & Contextual Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor experiences. Your knowledge will help identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to balance business requirements with the need for a top-notch user experience. Your ability to advocate for the user will be key in these collaborations.

• Mentorship & Leadership: Support the growth of UX writers and designers, providing mentorship and guidance. You'll also play a role in fostering a growth mindset within the team.

• Communication & Influence: Present your ideas clearly and persuasively to engage, motivate, and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Strategic Impact: Collaborate with UX Leadership to prioritize initiatives that will have the greatest impact, ensuring that your efforts are aligned with the department’s strategic goals.

• Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in UX writing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create user-centered content across cross-platform and cross-device projects.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, especially in creating and prototyping content within UX designs.

• Strong visual and interaction design skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft both engaging microcopy and broader content strategies.

• Deep understanding of user research methodologies, usability testing, and information architecture, and how these influence content strategy.

• Knowledge of design guidelines, best practices, and platform-specific considerations for mobile, desktop, and web.

• Experience working in Agile environments, with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate content strategies and design rationales to diverse audiences.

• Passion for staying current with design trends, technologies, and industry advancements, and a commitment to continuous learning.

• Strong understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and experience in implementing them in content across platforms.

• A blend of empathy, creativity, and pragmatism in problem-solving, with a passion for human-centered design.
