Revenue Cycle Specialist

The Revenue Cycle Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate management of revenue generation processes within our financial services and wealth management firm. This position is responsible for overseeing various aspects of the revenue cycle, including billing, collections, and account reconciliation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial operations, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills. This role will encompass the entire revenue cycle and will work closely with client-facing financial advisory teams, accounting, and compliance departments.

Essential Responsibilities

• Creates all invoices for assigned teams and monitors billing queue throughout the month
• Manages upcoming months’ adjustments and communicates deadlines with teams
• Monitors and confirms account changes per billing period for invoice accuracy:
  • New clients
  • New accounts
  • Billed/non-billed accounts and assets
  • Closed/transferred accounts
• Notifies teams of account cash needs per billing period, confirming all cash balances prior to processing fees at custodians
• Prepares and uploads fees to custodians
• Confirms payments and closes monthly invoices
• Identifies and investigates any discrepancies, ensuring accurate and up-to-date account information
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement
• Provides revenue reconciliation reporting to teams at month end including revenue received and outstanding invoices
• Adheres to all relevant financial regulations and compliance standards
• Stays informed about industry best practices

Requirements

• B.S. Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
• One year or more of relevant experience in financial services industry, preferably in revenue cycle management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce CRM
