Technical Design Specialist

Our Technology team is seeking a dynamic Technical Design Specialist. In this role, you will act as a crucial bridge between our business objectives and technical execution. You will work closely with our development team to translate complex design requirements into actionable technical specifications, ensuring the delivery of innovative and efficient software solutions.

Essential Responsibilities

• Solution Design: Leverage your development background to contribute to the design of new software solutions. Provide insights into technical possibilities and limitations, driving creative problem-solving and innovative approaches.
• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, understanding the landscape of our software solutions to identify areas for innovation and improvement.
• Design Translation: Convert design requirements into detailed technical specifications, ensuring clarity and feasibility for the development team. Develop comprehensive documentation to guide implementation and support future maintenance.
• Technical Collaboration: Work closely with developers, User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) designers, and other technical professionals to align project goals, design approaches, and technical constraints. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical team members.
• Quality Assurance: Review and validate technical designs to ensure they meet functional requirements, performance standards, and best practices. Assist in testing and troubleshooting to resolve design-related issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Apply this knowledge to propose enhancements and drive continuous improvement in our software solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in a technical role, such as software development or business analysis, with a strong understanding of software design principles and methodologies
• Experience with Jira, Salesforce, iPaaS tools, SQL, Microsoft PowerApps, Python or other programming languages a plus
