The Director, People Systems leads a techno-functional team of business system analysts and program managers responsible for tech-enabled business process transformation. You will translate business strategy into products that deliver frustration-free experiences to active and prospective Zscaler employees, in partnership with People and Culture (P&C) leaders, IT and Finance.

You will report to the VP, People Operations and will be based in San Jose or Seattle, coming in to the office 3x a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with P&C leaders to discover our needs and outcomes, then translate these into product features.
  • Partner with the IT organization to deploy products and features. Collaborate with IT to define a product roadmap for delivering a world-class employee experience. Explore new products to anticipate and deliver to future needs.
  • Lead a configuration team to manage business setup configuration across all People and Culture systems.
  • Be the primary contact for IT for infrastructure projects, supporting with requirements definitions, UAT, and end-user enablement for the automation delivered to Zscaler.
  • Design and operate the change management and communications of process changes, systems upgrades and enhancements.
  • Develop service analytics, and provide insights to People Team that generates unique ideas for program improvements.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 10+ years' experience in HR systems and operations, 5+ years' experience leading teams.
  • Implementation and operational expertise in the latest HR technologies, including HCM, ATS, Talent Management, Compensation, and Case Management.
  • Inspired by innovation and automation and inspired by delighting customers by delivering solutions.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Systems expertise in Workday, Greenhouse, and ServiceNow.
  • Excellent business, leadership, and HR experience and ability to work in faced paced environment.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects, adapting and flexibility to shift priorities.
