Release Analyst

Candidature Requirements:

• More than 8 years experience in Release management and DevSecOps.
• SDLC experience.
• ITSM Tools (ServiceNow experience Advantageous).

Areas of responsibility:

• Strong in change and release management with senior experience (8 years +).
• Knows how to map the SDLC process with CICD and can design a Jira Workflow with CICD and SAFE in mind.
• Coordinate with different project teams.
• Managing of risks and resolving the issues that might hinder the project scope, quality, and timeline.
• Project progress needs to be measured, ensuring that application releases are delivered within the deadline and considering cost and expectations.
• Coordinate with the release engineers to understand the consequences of code merges and branches.
• Making improvements in the release process.
• Maintain/uphold a release repository/source to manage key information like build and release procedures, notification lists, and dependencies.
• To Analyse current configuration management requirements, it is essential to research the latest configuration management and software development technologies.
• A thorough understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.

Must have requirements:

• Strong with change and release management experience.
• A good oral and written communicator.
• Ability to design a Jira Workflow with CICD and SAFE in mind.
• Confident individual.
• Focus on risk and governance.
• Can work during SA business hours.

Nice to have requirements.

Knowledge of AWS, JSON, GIT, Jenkins, Sonar, Chef/Ansible, Nexus, ServiceNow, Dynatrace, and Kibana is preferred.
