Cloud Engineer

Candidature Requirements:

• An individual with Cloud Expertise in managing global cloud accounts, providing infrastructure design, maintenance, support, monitoring, and planning.
• The cloud engineer will evolve cloud capabilities over time and ensure that the platform is resilient, economically scalable, and operationally sustainable.

Areas of responsibility:

• Build scalable, efficient cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Build, Manage, and Support environments in Azure and AWS cloud, including monitoring and logging off cloud events.
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding cloud security and infrastructure management.
• Provide guidance and thought leadership towards the use of cloud competencies.
• Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures.
• Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.
• Work in tandem with our DevOps team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions.
• Orchestrating and automating cloud-based platforms using laC tools.
• Develop and implement migration strategies for stateless applications to serverless services.

Must have requirements:

• Knowledge of AWS or Azure Cloud services.
• Programming skills such as python.
• Strong cloud Security Experience.
• Experience in using laC (Terraform or Cloud Formation).
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Cloud Engineer or equivalent, preferably in AWS.
• Experience in migrating stateful applications to lambda/fargate.
• 3-5 Years experience in Cloud Security and Networking.

• SDLC.

• Five pillars of a well-architected framework.

• Experience in deploying stateless applications.
