Title: HR Business Partner
Location: Austin/Bastrop, Texas (On Site)

Come join Xโ€™s People Team and provide daily HR support to our growing Safety Team near Austin, TX. Xโ€™s Safety organization is responsible for helping our users successfully and safely use our platform. This includes investigating issues that may cause harm to our users or pose risk to X, such as combating spam and fraud, and providing support to our customers. The Safety Team in TX consists of a significant non-exempt, hourly population (agents), team leads, and a site manager who are the front line operations for content moderation on our platform.

**Location: Bastrop, TX (outside of Austin)

**Role:

You will play a key role by providing on the ground HR support to our growing team in TX. As a part of the HRBP team, you will implement key HR initiatives and programs in support of the business goals. Specifically, you will:

  • Coach and advise managers and employees on a variety of components impacting employee experience: employee relations concerns, performance management, compensation and benefits, leaves of absence, local labor laws,and HR policies
  • Facilitate in-person new hire orientation and conduct I-9 verification
  • Ensure operational excellence to broad based initiatives including talent reviews, workforce planning, talent analytics, and overall process improvements to create a positive employee experience
  • Help the HRBP team create and execute initiatives to drive exceptional individual and team performance
  • Employ operational discipline partnering with the People Ops, People Systems and Compensation Teams to ensure accuracy in organizational hierarchy, pay, titling, and leveling
  • Support leadership as we relocate work locations and continue to build a cohesive, positive work environment and culture

**Who You Are:

  • You are comfortable in ambiguity and can pull relevant components out of complex situations to connect the dots and make sound decisions - you know when to ask for help.
  • You are a natural relationship builder who is good at balancing HR and business needs.
  • You have strong HR analytics skills and invest heavily in data-driven decision making.
  • You are creative, can think outside the box, and use this skill to provide innovative solutions.
  • You have a proven track record at getting tough assignments done on a small or non-existent budget.
  • You are strong in project management, communication, and prioritization.
  • You love a good challenge and are always willing to jump in, help out, and get your hands dirty.

**Qualifications

  • 5+ years as an HR generalist/HRBP with exposure/experience across other fields w/in HR or related discipline
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth, dynamic business environment; tech industry experience highly desired; experience working with hourly employees highly desired
  • Proven track record in the areas of program delivery
  • Strong problem-solving, critical/analytical thinking abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills; demonstrated ability to develop relationships and influence at multiple levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with team members outside of the US on global issues
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills and organizational consulting skills
