Junior Stress Engineer

What will you be doing?

As a Junior Stress Engineer_,_ you will join our Derby team to support our activities within the Aerospace sector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Structural Analysis;
• Analysis of various Aerospace components, such as, fan/component discs, turbine discs and mainline shafts.

Requirements

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

• Must have a Masters or Bachelors degree within Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering, similar engineering degrees can be considered;
• Must hold the full right to work within the UK;
• Must have 2-8 years of experience within Stress Engineering;
• An individual who has experience with gas turbines in a previous role is preferred;
• An individual who is proficient in the use of both 2D & 3D finite element stress analysis tools such as Abaqus, NX & Hypermesh;
• An individual who is proficient using Ansys;
