Senior Systems Engineer

We are looking for five experienced Systems Engineers who looking to contribute to cutting-edge Defence projects in Glasgow, working on advanced Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Capture & Management: Lead the gathering, documentation, and management of system requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• System Design: Apply full system thinking, focusing on functional analysis and system-level design (left-hand side of the V-model).
• Change Impact Assessment: Conduct detailed system-level design analysis to understand and assess the impact of design changes on various components and subsystems.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and project management, to ensure system integrity and overall performance.
• Integration Support: Assist with system integration and validation activities to ensure the system meets functional and performance requirements.
• Testing & Validation: Support system testing, verification, and validation activities to ensure that the design meets all operational requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in systems engineering, preferably in Defence or safety-critical environments (Aerospace, Naval, Automotive, Medical)
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on system-level design and impact assessments.
• Experience in functional analysis and full system thinking.
• Proficient in capturing and managing requirements throughout the system lifecycle, primarily in IBM DOORS
• UK National, due to the nature of the work.
• Able to be on site in glasgow on a hybrid basis (3 days a week)
