Senior Integration Engineer

What will you do?

As a Senior Integration Engineer at Third Bridge, you’ll be part of our shared services team, ensuring the smooth integration of all our systems and workflows. You’ll develop new solutions, , replatform and redevelop existing solutions, migrating and restructuring a range of critical data integrations. You’ll influence the future direction of our platform infrastructure and business applications.

Working in a collaborative team spirit, you’ll coach and mentor junior engineers, taking the lead on technical decisions, implementation choices, and ensuring standards and principles are at their highest. Using Agile ceremonies, you’ll work closely with the product engineering teams, product managers and owners, and other multidisciplinary members, with you acting as the SME for integrations.

Using Python, MySQL and AWS, as a Senior in the team, you’ll conduct code reviews, work with architects to present ideas and suggestions to senior software stakeholders, and optimise the day to day experience of our technical engineers. Requirements

What will you bring?

You are an experienced engineer with a focus on continuous integration. You see the bigger picture of how the different solutions and applications fit together, working cohesively with wider tech teams to ensure technical capabilities are simplified and improved. You are familiar with:

• Python
• AWS
• MySQL
• Familiarity with Node, React and PHP would be beneficial to your application.
• Agile way of working - inc. Scrum/Kanban
• Jira and Confluence

You bring an attitude of continual improvement, striving for operational simplicity and excellence from yourself and others. You embed testing strategies into your daily practice to ensure the quality of code. You adopt CI/CD and devops principles in the work you do with both in house solutions and SaaS applications.

You’re a keen collaborator, working with multidisciplinary teams, and acting as a senior in the team, you’re happy to share best practices, and you may have supported more junior colleagues in the past, including the mentorship of grads or junior engineers. You’re now looking for a role in a team where you are granted autonomy and the opportunity to take the lead with solution design.
