Product Manager

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a multinational financial services company specializing in online trading who is seeking to onboard a Product Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate must have experience in Product Management from the trading technology or operations side. Experience with backend platforms such as execution and order management systems. Options trading experience is vital and will be considered as a major advantage. Excellent command of English is mandatory for efficient communication between stakeholders.

Employment type: Full-time, Service Agreement

Remuneration: Base salary + bonuses.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive the product/features from initial concept through to launch.
• Brainstorm and define the product/feature value proposition for our client base.
• Develop product roadmaps and detailed product/feature specifications through deep dives into the domain, gathering requirements, and conducting business analysis.
• Work closely with engineers and architects to translate product specifications into design and then into the final product.
• Prepare comprehensive business test cases to support the engineering process.
• Continuously evaluate the progress of the product/feature in development using the test cases to ensure compliance with specifications and vision.
• Track and manage risks and assumptions, proactively escalating issues and mitigating execution risks.
• Conduct regular competitor analysis to ensure our product remains competitive and innovative.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Computer Science or any other relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the front, middle, and/or back-office space with experience in trade operations particularly in the Options and derivatives domain.
• In-depth understanding of Options trading, including strategies, pricing models, and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of trading backend systems and the ability to work closely with engineers.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
• A collaborative attitude and a high level of personal maturity.
• The ability to code will be considered as an advantage.
• Certifications in the financial domain such as CA or CFA will be an added advantage.
