The Medical Admin is responsible for stabilization of patients and coordination of evacuation of patients to medevac center or CONUS. The General Surgeon will provide preoperative, operative, and post-operative management of patient care. General Surgeons provide a U.S. standard of care for our patient care/treatment model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • All Health Care Providers (HCPs) will document care delivered and follow up care required.
  • Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts, and new policy requirements.
  • Maintain the highest regard for patient dignity and observe the precepts of the American Hospital Associations Bill of Rights for patients.
  • Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts, and new policy requirements.
  • Actively participates in Mass Casualty exercises and events.
  • Performance of other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) yearsโ€™ experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Common Access Card (CAC) or ability to obtain one.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate.
  • US DOS clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
  • Must be able to relocate to Iraq.
  • A valid passport is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay in Iraq.

Experience Preferred:

  • Experience on a military site, working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.
  • All health care providers and medical support staff must have recent clinical experience in patient care for at least 6 months out of the past year.

Education Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical School.
  • Completed a general surgery residency within the United States.
  • U.S. or Canadian Board Certified
  • Hold and maintain a current unrestricted U.S. (State) license.
  • Current American Heart Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Associatio
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Must have completed General Surgery Residency within the United States
  • Current Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
