The US Channel Business Development Manager will be responsible for all delivery of sales against agreed targets for given channel partner accounts, and use value added selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities and development of channel accounts.

Reporting to the US Country Leader, this role provides the opportunity to develop relationships with C-suite channel partner executives for driving growth, while also developing channel growth plans aligned to end-market growth strategies.

As an effective leader of these projects, the development and implementation of effective channel growth strategies to US channel partners and creation of marketing programs will be essential to the growth of interest for channel partners to drive Rotork business.

Requirements

Experience Requirements:

  • Degree or recognized qualification in Engineering or Business
  • 4+ years of Senior Sales and Business Development experience in manufacturing (industrial engineering ideal) with an accompanying proven track record of success
  • Knowledge and experience of sales techniques
  • Good command of English, (both spoken and written)
  • Ensure accurate and transparent sales forecasting of high-dollar, strategic channel projects utilizing CRM.

  • Outstanding collaborative working across a variety of business units, challenging and changing siloed thinking wherever it appears
  • Ready to travel nationally as required
  • Enthusiastic, goal oriented and eager to meet or exceed departmental sales objectives and project deadlines.
    Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels (verbal, written and presentation skills).
  • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a complex and matrixed business
  • Able work collaboratively with different cultures throughout the region
  • Able to thrive in a changing business, embracing ambiguity and solving complex problems
