About the role.

We are recruiting for a HR People Partner for our Wrexham fulfilment centre. This role will be site-based (Wrexham) and autonomous and will provide commercially aligned HR advice and guidance to the site business leaders. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR leader who likes to work in a fast-paced environment and part of a wider People team!

Key responsibilities:

  • Support/advise team managers/leaders to facilitate effective performance management.
  • Hearing and advising on disciplinary, appeals, and grievances.
  • Effective identification, monitoring and coaching of employees with performance issues.
  • Providing expertise and support in business consultation/restructuring exercises.
  • Support, and sometimes lead, change activities and initiatives with the People team that are aligned to strategic objectives.
  • Maintaining a relevant external understanding of HR policy and practice and use to improve our competitive advantage.

About you.

  • Confident in working autonomously but as part of a collaborative wider People team.
  • Working knowledge of internal and external HR policies and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of UK employment law and EU legislation.
  • Ability to support the delivery of change initiatives.
  • Redundancy and TUPE experience.
  • CIPD would be an advantage.
