Position Summary:

Being part of the DXRX Data team, the Clinical Data Analyst will be engaged in a variety of projects. This position has primary responsibility for building out the Diagnostic Deductive Pathways (DDPs), patient cohort identification, additional claims business rules, assisting in labelling the lab data feed through Annotation Lab and feeding into the success of the DXRX data platform. The position will leverage your scientific/clinical expertise and data expertise working closely with the Insights and Engagement Solutions Team to ensure methodologies and analytic techniques are utilized to address the client’s needs.

This role requires an individual who has a scientific/clinical background in oncology or non-oncology disease areas paired with experience in data analysis or bioinformatics. The individual will develop key business rules, identify ket patient cohorts and develop real-time metrics on all patients and testing in our Real-World Data repository, enabling powerful analyses and insights. Data from a wide range of sources will be translated into usable formats for consumption both internally and externally.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to the delivery against the Strategic Objectives of the team and reporting on the same.
  2. Develop a product mindset, solving problems in a scalable way that will benefit multiple clients of DXRX.
  3. Assist in R&D practices in how experimentation is carried out, documented and innovations captured through the Invention Disclosure process.
  4. Assist in the creation of new Diagnostic Deductive Pathways (DDPs), business rules and eligibility criteria from internal or client requests. Translating from process flow of the pathway to medical claims/lab data in our data lake. This will improve the source data and add additional value.
  5. Carry out detailed validation of business rules and eligibility criteria with cross-functional agreement from additional teams.
  6. Assist in labelling our lab data and enhancing our LLM through work in Annotation Lab.
  7. Assist with tracking of business rules and logic per project/product, ensuring repeatability and traceability.
  8. Assist with bespoke analysis, disease-specific projects and in-depth patient journey analysis.
  9. Assist with the reduction of data wrangling time for the IES team, particularly the data analysts and also the business analysts.
  10. Maintain a strong focus on the data strategy of the team in terms of GAP analysis and data utilization.
  11. At all levels maintain excellent data quality control processes.
  12. Assist with training within the wider company in terms of understanding our data sources and their applications.
