We are seeking a Video and Motion Lead to be responsible for creating, managing, and overseeing all video and motion graphics content. This role will require a highly creative individual with extensive experience in video and motion graphics to lead and execute visually compelling and engaging video content that supports marketing and communication initiatives.

This position will operate within our Client's open and collaborative creative culture. This means all creative is shared early and often with the multi-disciplinary creative community. This will help ensure alignment and consistent evolution of our brand and holistic customer experiences.

What you will do:

  • Lead the creation and production of high-quality video content from concept to completion, including scripting, storyboarding, filming, editing, and post-production.
  • Develop and produce various types of video content, including corporate videos, promotional videos, interviews, webinars, tutorials, and social media content.
  • Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and communicates the desired message effectively.
  • Design and create engaging motion graphics and animations to enhance video content and support marketing campaigns.
  • Incorporate graphics, titles, lower thirds, transitions, and other visual elements to elevate the overall production quality.
  • Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to plan and execute video shoots and productions.
  • Maintain organized files and records of all video projects, including raw footage, project files, and final versions.
  • Work closely with marketing, communications, product, and other internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions that meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and other stakeholders to create cohesive and impactful visual content.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Uphold brand standards and guidelines, ensuring all video and motion graphics content is consistent and on-brand.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the visual identity through video and motion graphics.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve video production skills and bring fresh ideas to the team.
  • Experiment with new video techniques and technologies to create innovative and cutting-edge content.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience in video production and motion graphics, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Editor with motion experience or motion designer with editor experience is a plus (but not a dealbreaker) as is a motion designer with some 3d (ideally cinema4D) experience.
  • Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics software (Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D). Experience with Adobe Workfront is preferred.
  • Possess an in-depth working knowledge of designing to meet accessibility standards, ensuring all creative experiences and data visualisations are inclusive and compliant.
  • Experience using AI for content and creative generation.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of video and motion graphics projects.
  • Excellent understanding of video production processes, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging and visually compelling content.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual composition.
  • Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate content based on input from stakeholders.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
  • Experience working within and contributing to a Brand Design System.
  • Familiarity with sound design and audio editing.
  • Experience with live streaming and webinar production.
