Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to lead and manage our facilities improvement projects. This critical role is responsible for enhancing the operational efficiency of our facilities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in engineering and project management, with proven experience in process improvements, capital projects, and facilities maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership:
    Lead and manage end-to-end facilities improvement projects. Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring that goals and timelines are met.
  • Technical Expertise:
    Provide technical leadership in process engineering, supporting the design and implementation of facilities upgrades. Ensure all technical deliverables—such as P&IDs, hydraulics, equipment sizing, and safety device sizing—are met.
  • Project Coordination:
    Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Manage communication with customers, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Feasibility Analysis:
    Conduct feasibility studies, plot space evaluations, safety reviews, and constructability analyses. Incorporate operational, maintenance, and human factors into project plans.
  • Capital Project Management:
    Oversee capital expenditure projects, aligning them with business objectives. Prepare technical proposals, manage contracts, and coordinate with consultants and vendors.
  • Process Improvement:
    Identify and implement strategies to enhance plant reliability and efficiency. Lead troubleshooting efforts and recommend process optimizations.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    Ensure all projects adhere to local HSSE regulations, ISO standards, and internal safety protocols. Lead HAZOP and safety case studies to mitigate risks.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    Provide regular progress updates, including status reports and performance metrics. Review and document vendor materials, equipment datasheets, and technical specifications.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, or related field).
  • 5 years of experience in process or maintenance engineering, with a strong track record of managing facilities improvement projects.
  • Proven expertise in leading capital and facilities improvement projects within industrial or chemical processing environments.
  • Strong foundation in process engineering, including P&ID development, hydraulics, equipment sizing, and safety systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Deep knowledge of HSSE standards, ISO certifications, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
