Product Owner

Everbridge, a fast-growing global provider of SaaS-based critical communications and enterprise safety solutions, is actively seeking a Product Owner to join our team based in Hungary. This is a remote/home-based position that can be based anywhere in Hungary.

As a Product Owner you will drive the development from start to finish to ensure they meet the clients’ needs and preferences. You will work closely with the stakeholders to determine the overall vision of products, managing various backlog items and deciding which features each product will have according to clients’ preferences.

What you'll do:

• Collaborating with Project Managers to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
• Defining the vision for the team’s product
• Owns the product roadmap
• Managing and prioritizing the product backlog based on changing requirements
• Ensure quality of product
• Manage risks
• Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development
• Developing user stories
• Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
• Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates
• Manage/Monitor/Participate to Scrum events (product backlog grooming, definition of done, sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, sprint retrospective)

What you'll bring:

• Bachelors’ degree; in engineering or computer science a plus.

• 3+ years direct experience developing vision and requirements for mission-critical, high-performant, automated, high-volume incident management systems.

• 2+ years of product management or related experience in software company

• Knowledge of Sales, Marketing, and software development processes

• Direct experience in an agile development environment as a Product Owner and member of a scrum team.

• Experience with global teams and international product expansion a plus.
