· Assigned to community based and/or non-profit organizations to provide workforce employment-centered services to clients and/or families on-site.

· Provide on-site skills and interest assessments, screening for program eligibility, and job search preparation and assistance.

· Prioritize assignments and recognize the need to adjust or adapt within a group setting or deliver one-on-one services.

· Interact with job seekers to ensure appropriate matches with employer’s needs and job postings.

· Document services provided into WorkinTexas.com within 24 hours.

· Ensure services including, but not limited to, job postings in WorkinTexas.com, hiring events, on-site recruiting, incentives, etc. are promoted and provided with excellence, in compliance and in a timely manner.

· Build and maintain relationship with employers seeking assistance in recruiting qualified job seekers.

· Provide on-site job readiness workshops, including but not limited to interviewing skills, resume writing and job search techniques.

· Facilitate orientations for workforce center services for all programs as needed.

· Coordinate and communicate effectively and professionally with community organizations.

· Provide resources to assist with shelters, housing, clothing, utilities, school supplies, transportation, counseling, substance abuse, domestic violence, backgrounds, family crisis.

· 90% travel throughout Dallas County as needed-stationed offsite/partner agency site(s).

· Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

· Associates Degree from a recognized community college or four-year college or university, and comparable years of related case management and job matching experience.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Demonstrated customer service skills.

· Sound knowledge of workforce programs (SNAP, TANF, WIOA, NCP, RESEA, TAA, SEAL).

· Demonstrate reliability and able to work independently.

· Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources.

· Public speaking experience.

· Demonstrated computer skills, with experience using word processing and spreadsheet software programs.

· Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with management, coworkers, workers from other programs as well as the public.

· Must be organized and detailed oriented.

· Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

· Demonstrated experience in communicating with area employers.

· A valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance that meets the State of TX requirements.
