Responsibilities

• Design high quality and high throughput cloud video encoders (H.264, H.265, H.266 and AV1) in NETINT’s next generation Video Processing Unit (VPU).

• Logic Design and Micro-Architecture:

  • In charge of video hardware codec blocks specification and interface design.
  • Micro-architecture coding and debugging of video hardware codec blocks.

• Applying expertise in logic design, micro-architecture, and RTL coding to develop innovative hardware solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (B. Eng.), Master's degree (MSc.), or Doctorate (PhD.) in a relevant field.

• A minimum of 5 to 15 years of progressively responsible experience in the field.

• Demonstrating a high level of proficiency in Verilog/ System Verilog programming to design and implement complex digital systems.

• Expertise in logic design, micro-architecture, and RTL coding to develop innovative hardware solutions.

• Experience or knowledge of DSP/ Multimedia along with Hardware Implementation is preferred.

• Previous experience with video hardware implementation of video codecs is an asset.
