The Sales Specialist will drive institutional sales by building strong relationships, by providing the highest level of service in specific subject matters and workflows to maximize client satisfaction and grow product deployment. As the primary focus is deployment of workstations, products, and services, which inherently will drive ASV, it also means echoing a consistent message of partnering across FactSet teams to explore new and creative ways we can service our clients. The ideal candidate will be able to drive deployment where growth exists, and at the same time solidify our existing user base by partnering with sales and client solution generalists.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate/initiate client meetings to develop FactSet's off platform data solution uptake.
  • Engage with Generalist Sales, Implementation teams and Consulting to ensure clients are educated on the most appropriate off-platform solution set for their needs and budget.
  • Build and develop strong sales and leadership skills within the EDS Group to deliver genuine subject matter expertise (SME) to clients and the industry.
  • Oversee post-sale projects to ensure efficient allocation and alignment of resources and execution of solution deliverables.
  • Problem solve and work on higher-level design to ensure effectiveness of the solution for clients
  • Become knowledgeable about the client’s internal business needs, architecture, operations, and applications in order to manage expectations and develop trust/commitment with key decision makers
  • Meet with EDS leads and FactSet PD to continually build product knowledge and communicate regional nuances within Data Solutions.
  • Develop Data Solutions strategy and engagement model for the assigned territory
  • Complete all E-learning's and identify opportunities to capitalize at clients and prospects with knowledge attained.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, MIS, economics, accounting, business administration, mathematics or similar field.
  • CFA preferred.
  • 3 years in client facing role, preferably as a FactSet Consultant and Account Exec Same AS AE – please refer there Strong technical skills and deep FactSet product knowledge, and strong analytical skills
  • Broad and up-to-date knowledge of the financial technology industry including trends and market demands
  • Proven ability to identify sales opportunities with new and existing clients.
  • Collaborative team player with a strong sense for creating a positive customer experience to clients. Enthusiasm, desire and a strong sense of initiative as a self-starter.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire confidence and maintain composure in stressful situations .
