You are a results driven, negotiator who loves challenges and finding “better ways” to do things. We are seeking a Mineral Negotiator who will be responsible for negotiating agreements, performance of contractual obligations, and execution of area strategies across Cenovus’ portfolio as well as partnering with various functional teams to drive alignment and business results. You have a well-developed industry network that supports your participation in industry initiatives, issue resolution, and identification of trends and emerging issues. You consistently model Cenovus’ mission, vision and values.
This position will be located at our downtown Calgary, AB office.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement area strategies to support business objectives
- Negotiate and close various agreements including Swaps, Farm-ins/Farm-outs, and Purchase and Sales
- Work closely with various cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives
