Streetworks and Planning Manager

Due to rapid growth within the business, we are currently recruiting for a Streetworks & Planning Manager to join our vibrant and dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all Streetworks activities, including permit applications, compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA), Traffic Management Act (TMA), and local authority regulations.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring that works are executed efficiently and in line with telecoms deployment schedules. Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and third-party stakeholders to ensure seamless planning and execution.
• Ensure that all necessary permits, notices, and licenses are applied for and obtained in a timely manner. Liaise with local authorities, highways agencies, and other relevant bodies to facilitate smooth project delivery.
• Ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and relevant Streetworks legislation. Identify potential risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, councils, and highways agencies to foster collaboration and resolve any Streetworks-related issues or disputes.
• Report information to the Programme Manager to allow the Programme to be kept up to date.

What we are looking for:

• Strong knowledge of NRSWA, TMA, and related Streetworks permitting and noticing systems.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in GIS/mapping software and familiar with telecoms network planning tools.
