As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's finance team.

Job Summary: The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, preferably with experience in the construction industry, and will be adept at handling multiple projects and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoicing: Prepare and send out invoices to clients, ensuring all billing is accurate and in line with contract terms.
  • Collections: Monitor accounts receivable balances, follow up on overdue accounts, and work with clients to resolve any payment issues.
  • Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts receivable ledgers, ensuring all payments are accurately recorded.
  • Reporting: Generate regular accounts receivable reports and provide insights to management on cash flow, aging of receivables, and potential risks.
  • Client Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any billing concerns or discrepancies promptly and professionally.
  • General Accounting Support: Assist with other accounting tasks as needed, including journal entries, financial statement preparation, and audits.
  • Compliance: Ensure all accounts receivable activities comply with company policies and relevant accounting standards.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role, with a preference for candidates with construction industry experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of general accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues independently, with a proactive approach to improving processes.

Benefits

  • Client Relationship: You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.
  • Payment: All payments for your services will be handled directly by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you.
  • Vacation Leaves and Holidays: While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client's business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.

Salary: $800 - $1000 / month

Schedule: PST
