Accountabilities of the role include:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive government relations strategy, fostering relationships with Members of Parliament, regulatory bodies and key stakeholders, focusing on the ability to influence the political environment and policy in line with business objectives.
• Actively engage with key Members of Parliament in conjunction with the Government Relations Manager to build racing allies across all levels of Government.
• Identify Government funding opportunities and oversee budget submissions, grant applications, and facilitate funding discussions with key stakeholders including advocating for election commitments.
