About The Role …

It’s an exciting time to join Render as a Product Delivery Lead, with lots of challenging projects to sink your teeth into. Reporting into the Senior Director, Product Engineering you will play a key role in defining, implementing and upholding the delivery framework within the Engineering function.

Here are some other things you’ll be responsible for:

• Running sessions with engineering leads and product owners to scope work, estimate story points, and forecast resources to prepare for engineers to pick up work efficiently.

• Running Agile ceremonies, daily stand ups, sprint retrospectives, always seeking opportunities to increase velocity without sacrificing quality.

• Seeking opportunities to increase velocity without sacrificing quality

• Managing software projects to ensure timeframes and budgets are met within scope

• Perform stakeholder reporting to the executive team, providing updates on current projects including velocity, risks, and progress towards delivery commitments.

This role is based in our Melbourne office, but working with a flexible hybrid working schedule which includes some office time and some home time. The salary range for this role is between $140,000 - $160,000 + super depending on experience. We pride ourselves on being a start up, however without the long hours and hustle bustle culture. We care about our people, and their balance between work and life.

About You …

You are someone who enjoys collaborating with a range of people, jumping into projects, and working agile. You thrive on creating buzz within teams, and can take technical concepts and turn them into non-technical language (and visa versa).

Let’s get technical - here’s the other things we’d like to see:

• Solid experience leading cross functional agile software development teams
• Experience in the SaaS platform space
• Advanced knowledge of project delivery tools, like Jira, Jira Roadmaps, Miro and Trello
• Solid knowledge of the Software Delivery Life Cycle

$140,000 - $160,000 a year
