Position Overview

The Telemarketing Team Leader is responsible for managing and guiding a team of telemarketing executives to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service. The role involves supervising day-to-day operations, coaching team members, and developing effective strategies to enhance the team's performance.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Supervise, train, and motivate a team of telemarketers to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Schedule and allocate tasks to ensure efficient coverage and productivity.
  • Develop and implement telemarketing strategies to meet telemarketing executives targets and objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to adjust strategies and improve sales outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the team's performance through metrics and KPIs.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on team performance and sales results to management.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement action plans to address them.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained by the team.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Gather customer feedback to improve products and services.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
  • Keep the team updated with product knowledge and industry developments.
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages professional growth.

Requirements

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a telemarketing team leader or in a similar supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of telemarketing and sales principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop effective strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.
