WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

The Security Specialist will oversee the security of our IT infrastructure, including endpoint security, cloud platforms, firewalls, and network devices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with a variety of security tools and platforms and will be adept at managing security policies, firewall rules, and training programs. Additionally, the role involves managing security documentation, vulnerability scanning, and compliance audits, as well as transferring knowledge and tasks from outgoing roles.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

• Endpoint Security: Manage and secure endpoints, ensuring all systems are protected and up-to-date.

• Email Security: Oversee the configuration and management of email security systems, including user training and phishing simulations.

• Log Management: Maintain and analyze security logs to monitor and enhance the organization’s security posture.

• Incident Response: Lead the incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and remediation of security incidents.

• Threat Intelligence: Manage and utilize threat intelligence to proactively identify and mitigate potential threats.

• Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability scanning and address any identified vulnerabilities.

• Security Reporting: Generate and manage security dashboards and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

• Security Policies: Develop, enforce, and update security policies across the organization, including firewall security policies and application of security measures.

• Firewall Management: Configure and manage firewall rules, ensuring the organization's network is protected against unauthorized access and attacks.

• Platform Management: Oversee the security of various platforms, ensuring their integrity and security.

• Browser Security: Manage security controls within web browsers to prevent unauthorized access and security breaches.

• Infrastructure Security: Maintain and secure infrastructure security solutions, ensuring all measures are in place and functioning correctly.

• Documentation: Maintain and update security documentation, ensuring it reflects the latest practices and technologies used within the organization.

• Endpoint Management: Oversee the deployment and management of endpoint management solutions, ensuring all devices are securely managed and compliant with company policies.

• Cloud Security: Manage access and security within cloud environments, ensuring cloud resources are properly secured and monitored.

• Compliance: Lead compliance audits and ensure the organization meets all regulatory requirements related to IT security.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in security roles, with a strong focus on endpoint security, cloud platforms, and network security.
• Proficiency with a variety of security tools and platforms, with strong experience in managing security policies, firewall rules, and threat intelligence.
• Demonstrated experience in incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance audits.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CISM, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.
