Project Manager

  • Lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface
  • Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion
  • Responsible for the complete project delivery of Ready for Service (RFS) for each lease site location.
  • Responsible to manage and ensure that the lease provider is complying and delivering the project per client's lease agreement contract
  • Serve as an advocate for managing a safe worksite
  • To manage the deliveries of projects from lease execution through RFS
  • Managing the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations
  • To ensure the delivery of projects, this position aligns team objectives, business processes, vendor management strategies, and cross-group collaboration efforts with the Data Center Development Project Strategy
  • Drive deployment of solutions that can be socialized globally across projects
  • Facilitate decision-making to drive solutions, schedules, and manage change as required
  • Coordinate meetings and activities of external stakeholders and attend scheduled owner/architect/contractor and other project meetings, and report as necessary.
  • To report progress on scope, schedule, and budget weekly, or as required
  • Bring strong communication, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Track lessons learned and identify improvements to share across groups
  • Coordinate approvals and route to all stakeholders and regional approvers
  • Ensure lease provider’s compliance to lease agreement contract

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in construction project management of Data Centers or equivalent experience.
  • Professional/tertiary qualification in project management, engineering or construction
  • A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project inception stage, design, authority approvals through to construction completion and post-project review
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniques
  • Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills
  • Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client
