Role Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Director to join our elite Ad Tech team. This role is designed for a technical lead who thrives on solving complex problems, designing scalable architectures, and leading the development of next-generation ad tech products.

As an Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for leading multiple engineering teams, overseeing the development and delivery of complex software systems that support our large-scale media platforms. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and user experience

What will you do?

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and with the highest quality standards.
• Technical Guidance: Provide technical direction and support to engineering teams, helping them solve complex technical challenges and make informed architectural decisions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product management, design, and other cross-functional teams to define and prioritize engineering initiatives that align with business objectives.
• Scalability & Performance: Ensure that the systems and applications developed by your teams are scalable, reliable, and performant, capable of supporting millions of concurrent users.
• Innovation: Encourage and drive the adoption of new technologies, tools, and processes that improve engineering efficiency and product quality.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of excellence.
• Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively, balancing the needs of ongoing projects with the development of new initiatives.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between engineering teams and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and opportunities.
• Talent Development: Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent, building a high-performing team that drives the success of our media platforms.

Who should Apply?

• Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a management role leading engineering teams.
• Technical Expertise: Strong background in software development, with experience in building and scaling complex systems, preferably in a media or content-driven environment.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, with a focus on fostering innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
• Project Management: Experience with agile methodologies, project planning, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges and make informed decisions.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in the media industry or with large-scale content delivery platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with modern frontend and backend technologies, including web and mobile development frameworks.
• Understanding of data management, analytics, and machine learning in the context of media platforms.
