Legal and General’s Group Data and Analytics department are hiring for a Data Engineer on an initial 12 month fixed term contract to deliver technical aspects of projects, ensuring solutions are designed, built and implemented effectively across the three sub functions of the department.
Working closely with the data analytics, Gen AI and Data Science teams you will be responsible for hands on development, engaging in modern data engineering practices to enrich and manage the company's data solutions, including cloud-based data warehouses and data lakes, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and the delivery of value to the business.
What you'll be doing:
- Ensuring solutions developed are compliant with GDPR, meet business requirements, adhere to internal quality, documentation standards, and deliver intended value
- Developing and maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders, providing advice and guidance on data solutions to improve their knowledge and understanding
