As a National Accounts Associate, you will be pivotal in driving our company’s growth by managing key accounts and uncovering new sales opportunities. Your primary responsibilities will include engaging with both current and potential clients through cold calling, virtual meetings, and face-to-face interactions, all while crafting tailored solutions that address their needs. You’ll be tasked with developing and executing strategic sales plans, utilizing tools like Salesforce.com for pipeline management, and ensuring you meet revenue targets through a mix of direct sales efforts and market research. This role demands a competitive, outgoing nature and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment

Responsibilities
Account Management (60%)

  • Identifies and/or maximizes the sales opportunity for assigned in assigned products, customer categories, or territories, focusing on both current and potential customers, market leaders, and key influencers.

  • Engage in direct sales activities, including cold calling, preparing presentations, and closing sales opportunities.

  • Research customer/client needs to create a solution that meets their objectives.

  • Generates direct sales from cold calling, follow-up calling, industry trade shows, virtual meetings and face-to-face meetings.

  • Emphasize virtual/online and face-to-face meetings, dedicating up to 25% of time to in-territory live meetings.

  • Develop and execute a sales plan to meet revenue goals, in collaboration with the manager.

Reporting and Analytics (30%)

  • Provides ongoing sales pipeline metrics and develop plans to reach annual sales revenue target assigned.

  • Conduct market research to generate new prospect lists and follow-up on existing accounts

  • Maintain contact lists for agencies and marketing companies servicing our customers

  • Utilizes SalesForce.com for client contact management, and pipeline management.

Support/Other (10%)

  • Maintains industry credibility through mandatory attendance at industry events, staying informed on market developments and vendor solutions, and communicating relevant information to accounts

  • Provide strategic input and direction to guide the team on products and market trends.

  • Attends mandatory internal meetings and trainings sessions.

  • Complete Sales Bootcamp and successfully test out of sales training

  • Support special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience in cold calling and phone-based sales

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • High degree of organization with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments

National Accounts Manager

As a National Accounts Manager, you will play a critical role in leading and managing key accounts across diverse territories. You will drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities, engaging with clients through various channels, and developing tailored solutions that align with their business objectives. Your responsibilities will include generating sales through direct interactions, collaborating with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales plans, and utilizing Salesforce.com for pipeline management. You will also provide ongoing sales metrics and analysis, conduct market research, and maintain up-to-date contact lists. This role requires a strategic mindset, proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite, and a willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for in-territory meetings. Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or related fields.

  • Strong ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.

  • Proficiency in SalesForce.com and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to provide direction and guidance to the sales team.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for in-territory meetings.
