Key Responsibilities

• Leadership of team members within the division and ensure the creation of high quality, accurate clinical/scientific content with ability to expand leadership responsibilities as team grows
  • Manage direct reports and all staff responsible for delivery of all special projects for Clinical Communications
  • Implement training of all staff and close mentorship and provide direction on client strategy.
• Provide operational oversight of all projects (live, video, digital, and print) and support direct reports and team associates with strategic scientific content direction, project planning needs, resource allocation, process alignment, and be held accountable for successful project delivery
• Shape, develop, and grow this division of the department, including associate development and business initiatives in partnership with VP, Clinical Communications. Foster innovation and collaboration across all positions Clinical Communications as a leader.
• Participate and support in new business development initiatives by providing strategic scientific content, new ideas, and high-quality materials for new business (grant/proposal writing)
  • Participate in the strategic planning and overall message development with clients
  • Identify and develop strategic and tactical business recommendations relevant to client strategy and marketplace needs
• Provide high quality scientific content in a variety of therapeutic areas and franchises within the division
• Work collaboratively on the creation of content by interacting and communicating effectively with external stakeholders (KOL, faculty, clients) and internal staff and teams (PM, BD, Shared Services) to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content
