Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer with 4-5 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by designing and executing comprehensive test plans. This role requires proficiency with Testrail, GitHub, and Jira, and a strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of software functionalities.
• Perform manual and automated testing across different platforms and environments.
• Utilize Testrail for test case management, tracking, and reporting.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate quality practices throughout the software development life cycle.
• Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration on test scripts and automation frameworks.
• Use Jira for defect tracking, reporting, and overall project management.
• Conduct regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and performance testing to validate the software.
• Identify, document, and track defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Continuously improve testing processes by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance and testing.

Requirements

• Experience: 4-5 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance.
• Tools: Proficient in Testrail, GitHub, and Jira.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Ecommerce.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Java, or others.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
