This position is based in the following office location:

Manchester, NH

The opportunity

The Office Manager will provide administrative support within the School of Business on our Main Campus in Manchester, NH. This position will manage daily office operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for faculty, students, and guests. Responsibilities include coordinating conference room setups, assisting with faculty needs, and maintaining organized file storage. The role also involves scheduling meetings, creating agendas, and managing office supplies and promotional items. The Office Manager will report to the Assistant Dean of Operations.

The Office Manager must understand both University and departmental policies. This person will assemble information for our School and prepare agendas and correspondence and ensure efficient task completion with access to student records. Additional duties include submitting maintenance and IT work orders, managing office technology, providing basic IT support, and delivering excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will manage and reserve conference rooms and classrooms for staff and faculty, ensuring appropriate setups.
  • You will schedule meetings, create agendas, take and distribute minutes for the Dean’s office.
  • You will oversee the planning and preparation of events, ensuring all details are addressed, handling logistical arrangements such as booking venues, arranging catering services, and setting up equipment.
  • You will serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications, as well as work with our Social Media team.
  • You will greet faculty, students, and guests including supporting students with appointments in the Dean's Suite.
  • You will assist with event planning and prep. This includes purchasing items used during events, décor, and ordering and setup of hospitality.
  • Submit Facilities and IT work orders as needed by faculty and staff within the school.
  • Other related duties as assigned to support the School of Business, and University Campus.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years’ experience performing similar duties is required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Confident problem-solving ability
  • Collaborative team member
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $18.09 - $28.94. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $19.99 - $27.05.
