We are actively seeking to appoint a Branch/Yard Assistant to join the team at our new, recently opened flagship branch. This new role is designed to provide assistance in our bustling yards. Your job
In this role as a Branch/Yard Assistant some of the duties involve:
- Providing customers with product and service information
- Pick customer orders accurately
- Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck
- Process orders accurately, within a time dictated by the customer deadline
- Serve customers on the trade counter when required
- Customer interaction
You will come to us with:
- Excellent communication skills and some customer service skills
- Literacy & Numeracy
- A hardworking & helpful individual to train in all aspects of our operation
- An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment
Desirable:
- Experience in Warehousing
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Forklift truck licence
