Digital Project Manager

**Anticipated Contract Length/End Date:**6 months
Work set-up: Hybrid (2-3 days in Office)

Our client in the advertising and marketing industry is looking for a Digital Project Manager (maternity leave coverage) to coordinate various digital projects from briefing to delivery, including resource and time planning. The selected candidate should have a thorough understanding of (and appreciation for) IA/UX, UI/Copy, Development, SEO and Data required to fulfil this role.

What you will do:

• Partner with capability leads ensuring that project objectives are defined and clear, and team capabilities and skills are engaged successfully to achieve objectives.
• Project Scoping – Facilitate project scopes alongside capability leads and account management.
• Resource Forecasting - Plan accurate resource forecast, incl. project plans, based on an objective view of the current and future project pipeline.
• Project Spend Reporting - Understand how project success impacts on margin.
• Partner with the account and product management team to course correct overspend.
• Apply change management process within projects to drive efficiencies.
• Post Project Analysis - Partner with leads on analysis of the total project budget against the total project cost (based on timesheet hours) ensuring that all learnings form part of future briefs.
• Staff Forecasting - Forecast the resources needed to staff a portfolio.
• Ensure that the skill set, and experience matches requirement.
• Presenting - Capability of clearly present thoughts, ideas, structure, and form, both verbally and visually.

Requirements

• Digital PM experience with exposure to Development (A Must).
• Ability to accurately scope out new projects: breaking down deliverables and requirements, structuring the projects, identifying correct resources, putting together costs/time. (PM tool experience with Smartsheets, Workbook, Trello, Asana and Jira).
• Ability to schedule, track and prioritise the work correctly with critical deadlines and milestones.
• Tracking project spend, burn rate, and resource capacity.
• Can deal with any day-to-day issues but still able to have a bigger picture view of project portfolios.
• Flagging any risk upfront and solving any blockages.
• Liaising with product management and account management to ensure all deliverables are met and budgets are adhered too.
• Ability to keep a team motivated and moving forward.
