Senior Payroll Accountant

The Challenge

The Senior Payroll Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing the end-to-end payroll process for the organization, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and accurate financial reporting. This role involves collaborating with the People & Compensation teams to ensure that payroll operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Your Mission

You own all things payroll accounting related, this includes but is not limited to:

• Posting global payroll journals
• Calculating and booking vacation and corporate bonus accruals
• Reconciling global payroll related GL accounts
• Providing flux analysis on all payroll related accounts
• Working with HR on quarterly one-time payment accruals
• Closely partner with HR and payroll for process improvements, researching items, etc.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy

You are adaptable to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are self-motivated; someone who can work independently, multi-task and prioritize your workload.

Your Experience Includes:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5-8 years accounting experience, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable
• Solid skill set in general ledger and sub-ledger accounting
• Experience with Workday Financials a plus
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity
